Not quite

I have to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to all of you. Sorry I haven't checked in for the past few days but I'm trying not to take the highly addictive pain killers. I dont see any future as a patient at Betty Ford. So, without the numbing effects of the medication I cannot lower my foot w/o severe pain. I'm fine if I dont move from bed. I think thats what the Dr. really wants anyhow is for me to stay put in bed with the leg up. I had to go to my daughters Christmas show at school tonight. Shes 11. I COULDNT miss that under ANY circumstances. It was great. It helped me to forget the misery for a couple of hours. I had to medicate for that so I figured I'd check in here at the wall with an update while the pain med. was still working. Thanks again to all of you. You really have gone above and beyond the call. I will try to pattern the rest of my life around the lessons I have learned as a result of you all. I'm going to "elevate" now. I will catch up with you guys later. I will be on my back for the next five weeks, then rehab for 4 to 6 months. Doing alot of reading as I got tons of new reading material. I'll keep y'all posted. Best wishes,
