    Just woke up.....

    and this is what I find. WOW !!!! I am humbled by all of your generosity and emotionally overwhelmed. Talk about taking some of the pain away. I cannot begin to describe the way it feels right now to be the recipient of such an outpouring of support. What can I say except THANK YOU !!!! Its these moments that make a person reflect on who and what they are. Someday I will be able to repay all of you in some way. In an email I wrote to Dan, I explained how I was beginning to feel like part of the "family" on the wall and here you guys go and set those feelings in stone. As I said before , I'm emotionally overwhelmed right now so its getting tough to type. Nobody has ever done anything like this for me before. To say that myself and my family are appreciative is an understatement. Thanks to my new "family" for all that you do. You guys have renewed my faith in humanity. It was on shaky ground there for awhile. To steal a line from Clammy..... Peace. and THANK YOU ALL !!!!! I'm drained and am going back to bed. It will be tough to sleep though with this on my mind. You guys are the cream of the crop.

    HERE'S WHAT WE HAVE LEFT TO AUCTION:

    We have copies of The Water Heater Workbook, signed by Larry & Suzanne Weingarten, the authors. This is a terrific book donated by wonderful people. If you want one, just say so and it's yours.

    We have a card from Don Lomauro thats good for 100ft. of 3/4" wardflex cssc gas pipe. This comes to us from our friend Al Bruno. No bid so far.

    We have the Piping Handbook, by Crocker and King, Original copywrite date is 1930. This is the 5th edition from 1968. It covers everything from sewer pipe to nuclear power plants. It weighs at least 10 lbs, and has 1,500 pages. Chuck Shaw is donating this and he will ship this massive load of know-how to the winning bidder.

    And the offer stands for anyone who would like a year in Find a Professional for half price ($200). That goes for new ads and extensions on current ads. Send your check to Tommy and let me know your intentions.

    TWO TEKMAR 352's on the block.

    I've got two Tekmar house control 352 outdoor reset controls with outdoor sensors that were in use for only one heating season before I replaced
    them with Viessmann boilers & controls.  Both are in original box and I'd like
    to see them find a nice home & to help TommyOil out further. Not sure what their value is but, every little bit helps when you're hurt & out of work.

    I will ship them anywhere to the highest bidder.

    This book..

    doesn't cover oil specifically. It does go into tank maintenance, which is basically the same for all glass lined tanks. Actually, the main reason for getting the book is the quotes in it. They're GOOD quotes! ;~)

    Dan, I have an extra copy of Audel's Oil Burner Guide.

    I don't have the exact title, as I'm not home. It is in real good condition (no one used it on the job I suppose). It dates from the thirties or forties if I remember correctly. It was authored by Frank Graham, I think. It is small, about 4"x6" by 1/2 to 3/4 thick. Very informative, and historical. There is a nice section on venting coal conversion boilers. It is up for auction if there are any takers. Just let me know where to mail it.

    I have a pair of Hydronic Bookends that I made. I took a B&G impeller and split it in half, powder coated it black, and built the wood bookends. I would gladly donate them for this worth cause.

    HotRod Rohr owns the only other similar pair and what else does anyone need to hold more of Dans books?

    I will UPS to a worthy home.
