Has anyone used this stuff from Hydronic Alternatives? I'd appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. It looks like an intresting idea, but is it well made? Difficult to install? etc.
Thanks

Uh huh
We used it back in the good old days late 80s or early 90s. I've got it in my house. It works well enough but don't kid yourself Runtal it's not! It has low heat output. you should wrap all wall surfaces. It needs to be Weather responsive , preferable constant circulation to help controll the noise of exspanding aluminium. Caps move if not screwed down. Flow rates crirical. It is not easy to install if you want it to look good. Still it's the lowest profile thing you can get , depends on your priorities!

Also
flow is important. Connect in parallel rather than in series. This will also reduce pump sizing.
I'm repairing a system where the heating contractor installed 1/2 as much RP baseboard as required by heatloss, and piped all the BB in series. The owner wanted Runtal, but what was not given a choice.
