primary circ control

Am I correct to wire the primary circ to run only on a call from a secondary circ?I have 2 bbrad zones a in dirhw zone and a future radiant zone.Each with own circ and a honeywell 675 od reset on boiler with dhw priority and boiler protection. but no one explains the primary circ run cycle or control seq.installed many boilers this is first pri sec and i thought id try my house first. any tech advice is appreciated.
