    Testing

What happened to a good old fashioned test at the end of the training to better gauge how effective that training was with maybe a minimum passing score to become certified, most of the training I attend (most but not all) are sales presentations put on by the wholesalers to sell more product.
If the people that really wanted to learn the right way to install a piece of equipment were given training that ment somthing like being tested and if found competent were certified and recomended by the manufacturer I think more people would be interested in taking the time to go to these training seminars.
This could reduce the warrenty problems which would free up money to cover this training and in the long run give their product a better name so they would sell more product. JMHO

    We take responsibility

We offer training on a regular basis. Customer awareness would be a big benefit. We man the phones 5 days a week trying to head off problems before they happen. It is everyones responsibility to make this profession highly regarded. I used to be an installer until low price became the only criteria that mattered to the homeowner.

    Certification only flies…

If the certifier is liable, and collectable
Otherwise, it’s no better than the plumbers license to begin with

    Heating Help

    Nothing quite like it.

To me it's all about producing the most efficient, SIMPLE and comfortable heating systems imaginable.

Success and failure from both the present and past are presented, analyzed and debated.

Engineers, end users and dreamers alike must all present their ideas and problems to a forum that encourages all.
