where's the problem- the job or the money???( THE FINAL PAYMENT?

I have this customer--- large multi stage renovation 1 1/2 yrs,, bath's, heat etc.... did seperate T & M billing and invoicing for all stages of construction ,, 8 invoices--- one for each section of the house,,, with the invoice being for a certain time period and area- everything being agreed on and work done at their request, that section being completed before the next area is started,,, all invoices were fine and accepted and paid,,, EXCEPT for the LAST one,,, "I don't like how this was done// it was misleading//more than we expected to spend,,, etc... .... 1 1/2 months later no final payment even though all previous were paid on the spot.... MORAL --- Don't BS the contractor,, if you have a problem discuss it up front and be honest, you confided in him to do a great job and he did. You probably got way more than you paid for,,,, THE CHEAPEST GUT MAKES THE MOST MONEY>>> BECAUSE HE DOESN"T CARE AND HAS AN EXCUSE THAT THERE WASN"T ANY MORE MONEY TO DO ANY BETTER>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
