My second paragraph referred to to your second paragraph where you closed your disgust at Mr. Clinton's extra-marital escapades in the Oval Office with "...I didn't threaten to leave the country." I simply affirmed that I wouldn't have threatened to move either on that account or if the current president is re-elected.

More importantly, Mark, how is Mum? I hope she is much better already. Cheers!

War Brides

Yes, Many GI's came home with war brides. My family was one of them. Both my great grandmothers were german. My greatgrandfather served in the occupation army of WW1 in Germany. But one thing my immigrant family strived to be was AMERICAN. That I was told was of primary importance to all.
