WETSTOCK FUND RAISER from Tim & The Bean

Tim Doran_2
Tim Doran_2 Member Posts: 131
Robert Bean and I would like to add to the donations for this worthy cause. We will provide a full day of training at the time and place of your choosing. You can invite as many folks as you want and we will design a course on any topic(s) that you want(Hydronics/business/hunting/fishing/etc). All you need to do is provide a space and an audience. Looking forward to seeing you all in Baltimore.

    What a wonderful deal!

Everyone wins. Thanks Tim and Robert.

Folks, this is a great deal, especially if you're involved with an organization, or if you're running a supply house. Tim and Robert will tailor a class to your needs and pay their own expenses. You sell the tickets and keep the money (or maybe donate a bit of it back to Cindy's Walk?).

The winning bidder will make his/her donation to Cindy's Walk.

And rather than do this at the Wetstock silent suction, I think we should do it here on the Wall. Tim and Robert can decide when it should close.

Can I get an opening bid?

    Let's open this up

with a $300.00 bid (with 50% of ticket sales back to Cindy's Walk of course).

What a great opportunity for a wholesaler or agency

If I were in the distibution business I'd be considering rounding up my entire North American team for the annual event (which you would do anyways!) and coordinate bringing in the two amigo's to rub elbows and swap knowledge for a day or two...your customers win - you win - Cindy's walk wins and Tim and I get to continue our ongoing debate about who is the better fisherman, hunter, B.S. er...(Tim's got me beat on all three!)

Who ever can pick this deal up for under six or seven thousand dollars is going to make one of the best investment in 2004...Tim and I will put on a heck of a show - those sales registers will turn into toll booths!

Grab your managing decision maker - the CEO - whom ever calls the shots and signs the marketing checks - its a great PR event for your company...don't misss out!

Tim & RB weaving their stories

    Come on People!
You have to anty up here. I had the fortune of having Robert speak at our January Wolseley Hydronics Managers meeting for Western Canada. Any wholesaler , distributer, association would truly benefit from these two gentleman. Roberts is truly a dynamic speaker. He lives and breathes this business at all levels. Truly inspirational!

Tim Doren, I have meet in different gatherings as well as the THE WALL. I can only add that he also has the passion for the business and knowhow.

These two gentleman can truly make a difference in your business.

    Great Idea Dan!

I have attended two of the three Wetstock events(missed WSIII due to a duck hunting commitment with my kids, priorities!)and we have raised several thousand dollars for charity each time. I am sure that we can do it again if we work together and what a great time it could be in Boston.
Cancer research is so important to us all and the research organizations need our help to continue the fight. I have lost a lot to these awful diseases over the years and want to help others avoide the same. I would venture a guess that we all know someone with cancer at this very moment. We need to help!

    The weekend may be

a bad time to promote this great "duo deal". Lots of the deep pocket corporate guys, and wholesalers, among others :) are punched out. Hope this runs into the week :)

The last time I was at Able they fired up the BQer and grilled up some fine tidbits for their customers,...it doesn't surprise me you'd be up’n the ante...if there were ever two guys who knew a bargain it’s the boys at Able!

I can see the wheels turning now…Doran and Bean for $1000 bucks…divided by 40 guys is $25 bucks a head…put some heat on my other manufacturers to put up some co sponsoring table tops…get the local press involved…”Chicago’s own - ABLE Distributors – The Supplier Who Works With You- HOST BREAST CANCER FUNDRAISER”… (Hmmm this thing could ride up to three –four thousand dollars and its still a great Public Relations deal!

If you know the people at Able here’s a quote from one of my favorite illustrators/writers and it exemplifies Mike and team…

“The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that cared.” Charles Schultz

    Go Mike Go!

    How tough is Doran...?

Its the beginning of a Canadian winter and we're out shooting ducks and TD has a summer jacket on - gloves off? I never had chance…my only excuse…I was so cold and shivering so much – just could not shoot straight! TD looks at me and calls me a wimp!
    Can ya feel the camaraderie.

If you have been fortunate enough to hear Robert speak then you know what your in for. If you have not then you should. He is a true visionary and he can enhance your business. I can attest to this as knowing Robert and listening to his thoughts has made a significant positive impact on my carreer.

    Bid on Bean & Doran

Sorry for the delay. My computer at the housen has freaked out, keeping me off "The Wall".

Just dialed in from another source and see this GREAT idea.

RPA-WAC (Washington DC Area Chapter) already has Mr. Bean scheduled for April 21st & 22nd.

However, we would love to have the duo of Bean & Doran for a seminar this fall.

    $2,200.
