Went to a system and found this. It was a glycocol system that was with a heat exchanger. There was no relief valve, expansion tank or pressure gauge. The sysytem was installed about 5 years ago. I like to shoot the contractor that did this one.

You have to wonder
what they were thinking..... maybe that the safety valve and expansion tank on the boiler would also handle this loop? How did they think the over-pressure would get thru the exchanger?
