First job from Find Pro

Today we did our first job that we received from someone looking here on this site. Small one, we replace about 20' of return line, repiped the equalizer and hartford loop at the boiler. Also replaced the guts on one leaking radiator valve. We had one radiator not heating in an upstairs bedroom. (Part of the reason he called) Airvent good, valve ok, ended up that long ago someone replaced the riser with copper up the wall. In the floor where it goes from the outer wall, to the radiator valve the pitch is wrong. Tried raising it up a little but the fittings are not working with us. Might make it a little better. He is going to call us when he does a little remodel and we can get and change that riser.

Went on one today


Steam system with a few problem radiators.

What do you say Dan? "If the air can't get our, the steam can't get in".

I will be contacting a gentleman in Vermont that got us from this site.

Timber frame home with radiant, wood boiler, back-up boiler, etc.......

I like being the only one in the area Dan, so let's keep it that way!
