How about these four young americans. This was sent to me as an e-mail, I hope its not fake.

These four young woman are flying a KC-135 airbourne tanker over Afghanistan. Fueling fighter jocks and doing their share. Thier parents should be mighty proud.

wether it's real or fake, Scott. We know that there REALLY ARE some of America's finest Ladies (and bravest young men) doing just that..so it's real!

I hope they all come back safely, and take out Saddam & his sons in the process.

PPS. Most of you guys don't know that I'm English, and that I'm extremely pacifist by nature (even though I boxed for many years, and can strip, rebuild, & use, just about ANY gun ever built, go figure :O). I'm old enough to have seen the devastation left behind in Germany and England after WW2 (my Dad was a Soldier/Engineer in the British R.E.M.E.).

Tony Blair is right in supporting you guys, even though it's killing him politically. There never was a man in history, who needs to be removed more than the thug Saddam.

Pray for these young soldiers, they need it.

Looks real enough to me

The rank on the flight suits shows the aircraft commander, co-pilot, navigator and boomer.

If Tony Blair gets ousted as PM as a result of his support for the US, tell him to come to the US and run for president. I'll vote for him. I heard him speak at the Mayor's Dinner in London. The man is gifted!

Everytime I think about the French position with Sadam, I am reminded of the "peace at any cost" position the French and PM Chamberlain took with Hitler. (What do they say about history repeating itself?)

Women pilots

Even during WWII, we had lots of women test pilots who flew just about anything, and lots of big bombers were ferried "across the pond" by female crews. Many women also built those planes..."Rosie the Riveter" was real!

Hear, hear- I agree with it all. I served in the Marines in the Gulf War and wished we finished it then!!! Hears a good pic to remind the french!!!!

The French

A quote by Mike Royko about the French, long before this hit the fan:

"They're not much at fighting wars any more. Despite their reputation for fashion, their women have spindly legs. Their music is sappy. But they do know how to whip up a plate of grub."

I read an interesting article BY a Frenchman ABOUT the French - why they don't like Americans. Basically, the author said the English and the French have been going at it for centuries and the French hate Anglo Saxons (English). America is like a big, giant, all-consuming nation of Anglo Saxons.

It's really about the money.
