Peerless WB4 water boiler sounds like it's steaming

I have customer with a WB4 that sounds like it's steaming after the burner is running for just a few minutes. When I stop the burner you can really hear it. It's about 10-15 years old and at one time had cast iron radiation attached. Some genius told the homeowner to get rid of those old pieces of junk. (What ashame) Anyway, I am going to run Hercules cleaner through it. Water is slightly hard, but not feeding, no leaks in system. Questions,Thoughts or Ideas.

I get that same noise
from my WBV3 , about 6 or 7 years old , when I happen to pass it when it shuts off - a sizzling steam noise for a few seconds , like the hot plate of steak from Chili's . No leaks or air in the system though . I do have the temp on the high side through this winter - 200 degrees when a zone calls - but the pressure is around 15 psi , so it shouldnt be steaming .0
