Radiant & Mixing Valve! (Jamie)

I'm starting a small radiant job on Monday and the heated space is about 60 feet (one way) from the boiler. Do you guys usually keep your mixing valves @ the board or should I put it in the room. (The only problem w/ that is it will take up more space then just the two manifolds)
Thanks,
Jamie

You will have to move.........
the pump also, Jamie, if you put the mixing valve near the manifold. That means pulling wire and taking up even more room.

Not to mention it will be more difficult to do repairs in a finished room as oposed to a mechanical room or garage. I always just run pipe back to the boiler room. It has saved my company alot of money in the long run...0 -
Insulate the
supply and return to the manifols, 60 feet isn't to far.
