I want to know the the method on sizing of circulating pumps for hot water heating. commercial and residential.also the question which is better putting circulator in supply side or return side of hydronic system

You need to know
how much water you have to move, and what resistance ("head") the pump has to work against. Then you can pick your pump by looking at performance charts for different pumps.
If you're working on a gravity conversion, it gets a bit more complicated. Paste this link into your browser and follow it to a real good ;-) article on the subject. It pays to wander off the Wall!
