And it would have been longer had I not used the drywall router left from the days when I thought rock would be "fun" and even profitable! Spoiled the first piece 'cause I forgot that the ceiling sloped (for condensate from steam generator) DESPITE the fact that I was cutting for the drip edge a few inches away from the control wall! Duh! (Only way to slope the ceiling, otherwise on seated people, door or glass block window.)
No wonder these things cost a fortune.

Don't worry about the time. You think enough about your trade to take it apart and start again. Not to much of that going on these days. If it's not right what good would it be anyway.
Sometimes I wonder if the trades are diluting "level, square & plump" as in "truth and politics"
