Galvanized condensate recievers? Yes/No?

What are your thoughts on galvanized (hot dipped) condensate recievers?
I have herd aggresive condensate can cause pinholes in the coating, causing it to peel off. Any coating that peels off will be a problem for the pump impeller.

Took one out after 15 years of service due to leaking,cut it apart just to see. Found above water line like new,below water line was like pulling a boat out of the water after 15 yrs things were living in there,looked like the surface of the moon but brown instead of green.
