  • My one and only son became a Doctor today

at 7:00 pm EST. He graduated from Simmons school of medicine in Boston. His Doctorate was awarded in Physical Therapy. This is a first for our family although we have had one General in the family back in Civil War Days. He will be getting a second doctorate in another six months in another medical speciality. It feels good to see your kids do well. The two doctorates will allow him to have a full professorship at Brown University. He will continue to run the two clinics and believe it or not a very successful contruction company Rumford General Construction. He is a very busy guy, must get it from his mother.

    from his mother?

She must be quite a gal!

    That's great to hear, Tim.

My little man is almost two, and am SURE he'll make me proud some day. He loves tools, motorcycles (his dad is a motocross enthusiast), and his throwing arm excellent.

    Amazing

Amazing, what a good upbringing and blessings from the Good Lord can do for one's family. Congratulations Tim to your son and both you and Mrs.McElwain.

why don't you bring him to the "gathering" in case anyone yells "is there a doctor in the house" we can point to your table,(G) might be some good info for him to absorb!!

    side note:

    you did

    say that

    milne

    was buying

    right ??
  • Milne Has all the Money

and being a native New Englander and Chowda Head it is only proper that he function as the host for the gathering. DRINKS ARE DEFINITELY ON HIM. He may also run the tours for the wives.
  • then he can

  • then he can

get some use out of all that silk and satin that he scoffed from vic's secret!!
  • I too can share

the feelings you are having. My daughter got her doctorate last year and she married a doctor last Saturday. They are both Chiropractors. I always feel much better when I return from a visit with them! Congratulations Tim!

Congrats...spent some time at Brown myself...

years ago. My brother-in-law went there '84 to '88 and wrestled for them. We spent many a weekend there - a very fine school.

My wife was proud because he was tw- time Ivy League wrestler of the year, but that's nothing compared to your son, Tim...Congratulations! PJO

    so cool

I saw a therapist yesterday, course all he wanted was a laundry tub install in his new practice. Found myself keeping my stomach sucked in! My youngest daughter has just decided to become a pysco docter of somekind. Could you use her at the wethead roundtable in nov.? She's in her fourth year and should know somthing more than how to use a tape measure by now.

Good news to here about your son!!
