A Better Install
What do you think makes an install look or function better? Straight lines in your plumbing, clean pipes and good positioning(and following the manual) are obvious ones. But what do you do to make your install stand out? I'm looking for ideas as I want to up my game.

Yes, labeling! And a good written or graphic description. Good positioning of pipes — one of the less obvious things is arranging them so that not only do they follow (or exceed) the manual, but so that one can visualise what is happening and what goes where. Usually not all that hard with steam, but sometimes… hot water can be done very elegantly! But I'd add that the same sort of thinking applies to electrical wiring — that should be neat and clear as well. The line voltage stuff usually is — but any low voltage is, if anythng, more important.
