How are small HVAC companies handling missed calls when everyone is in the field?

Curious how the smaller HVAC companies here handle incoming calls when everyone is out on jobs.
Do you have someone dedicated to answering the phones, use an answering service, let calls go to voicemail, or have another setup?
I’ve been interested in how different shops handle this, especially during busy season and after hours. What’s worked best for you, and what hasn’t?

When @Gordo and I had our company, we simply put our cell numbers on the office voice mail greeting, so if someone had an emergency they could call us directly. For routine stuff we instructed them to leave a message, and every couple days or so I'd put in some office time and return calls.
