A pet peeve of mine is people using condensate receivers as boiler feed pumps and the fact that so many people do not understand the difference between the two.

I had a "master trap" go bad, along with most of the radiator traps that had been bad for ages. The steam that vented was so bad you could swear it was showing up on weather radar.
