Copeland scroll noise
the attached videos are of the same 2024 Bryant unit that’s compressor makes this sounds every time it shuts off. It almost sounds like the compressor momentarily runs backwards, which may be ok. Or the scroll is damaged and the compressor should be replaced. I didn’t know if anyone else had experienced this, and what the outcome was.
the compressor starts up fine with no noise and runs fine with no unusual noise when running, it just makes this noise when it turns off. Thanks to all

The internal check valve may be failing. Excessive compressor super heat can cause the oil to break down.
It should be in warranty.
