How to lubricate vane on Mitsubishi mini-split?

Options

On one of my Mitsubishi mini-split indoor units, the plastic vane occasionally makes a modest squeaking sound when moving. I imagine it just needs lubrication (installed 2017), but I am not sure what lubricant to use or where to apply it. The visible hinges appear to be off-white plastic on dark plastic?

How should I lubricate the vane, and with what?

i'd probably use silicone grease. it is probably designed to not have lubricant but you should be able to put silicone grease where it is squeaking. use the solid type of grease that comes in a tube, not the spray kind. probably will need to use a little stick or something to dab it on the joint.

Oh, wax never occurred to me. I've got paste wax but it's loaded with petroleum-based solvent. That won't degrade the plastic?

a crayon or a candle would be better. or an actual chunk of paraffin.

an old cabinet maker thought me that. He used it on his table saw to lubricate the gears blade goes up and down and angles. Any lubricant the sawdust will stick to it. It doesn’t stick to the wax
