Is Ecocirc 20-18 infinitely variable?

Hey guys,

Anyone with experience with Ecocirc 20-18 know if it's infinitely variable? Meaning I can't set the constant speed in between 2 and 3 to reach a specific speed?

The brochure is not clear at all. I know the Ecocirc 19-16 was a true variable pump.

    I tried calling them, but they don't really know

    I like the flexibility it would have it it can be adjusted like a dimmer the way Taco VR 1816 can, with high higher max head and flow

    I have this pump and can confirm that it is infinitely variable, that is an standard pot for the speed setpoint. At certain speeds in the middle range it is louder though.

    Good question. Bell & Gossett use this wording for the Ecocirc 19-16 brochure "The pump speed is infinitely variable and is automatically adjusted by the controller to optimize performance and efficiency."

    I guess it just means the speed is adjustable like a dimmer from 0% to 100% to find the perfect speed for your system
