tankless water heater as a solar water heater backup

Trying to figure out how to use tankless water heater as a backup for Buderus 80 gal indirect water hater with 2 coils Any suggestions. ?

I’m assuming that the top coil is solar and the bottom connects to a boiler?
If so, just pipe the tankless in series with the indirect’s hot line going into the tankless’ cold inlet.
Set the indirect’s aquastat about 10* higher than the tankless.

There is no boiler I want to use Solar as main source -bottom coil And Tankless as axillary in top coil. I'm in SC

typically the solar is the pre heat to the tankless. Tankless in series on the potable side, not to the coil.
