Depending upon your sensor, it may be responding to VOC's and not CO specifically. Also, if you have mold, you could have deteriorated conditions in your combustion equipment that results in CO production. Check each combustion appliance separately to ensure they're operating properly. Measure your indoor Rh% and get it under control.
