Trying to see what would make the most sense on my subtractive pressuretrol. Should I do 2psi main & 1psi differential, 2psi main & 0.5psi differential, or 1psi main & 0.5psi differential? It is a one pipe system, No insulation in the house (located in Northeast too), EDR of all radiators is about 605, have a gorton #2 for main venting, and varivalves at radiators (planning on replacing over the next few years)

Any of those would work… my own whimsy would be 1.5 psig main, 0.7 psig differential.

Try running 1.5 cut off and make the differential as wide as possible. If you make it too wide the boiler won't restart.
