EnviraCOM™ diagnostic tool?
Is there a interface tool that plugs into the Honeywell R7284 series primaries, the ones that do not have a display? Reading through the manual there is an Eviracom Diagnostics port. It would make sense that there would be a tool to plug into it, kind of like you have for the Beckett 7505 series.
I've searched around and all I'm coming up with is thermostats

Yes there is one. Probably not made anymore. And probably more money than just switching the primary to a new Carlin or Genysis.
It looked like a pen, I think it only read voltage and ohms, and gave you error codes. Barely helpful. And didn't work on all Evirocom ports.
I know I have one buried in my truck somewhere.
I bet @Robert O'Brien has one somewhere.1 -
Thank you! I was starting to feel like I couldn't use Google any more :D

I tried googling just for an image but couldn't find one. Samco Electronics used to sell them along with an OnWatch, but googling that turned up nothing either. I smell a conspiracy…lol.
I found mine (I knew I had one). As you can see, maybe used once.0 -
I can see why you dint use it much. I'm disappointed in Honeywell on this one. It is what it is.
Thanks man!
