Heat exchanger between wood boiler and propane boiler?

thank you guys.
I was forced into the 3/4” pipe for the wood boiler loop based on Gary’s recommendation of utilizing the current recirc pump with a relay to run anytime there is a call for heat.
what I didn’t need to do though, and I’m looking at this as a mistake, was use 3/4” pipe to plumb in the house side loop of the heat exchanger. I could have used the 1 1/4” down to 1” reducer for the supply side , and I could have cut into his 1” line and just kept 1” for the return side of the house loop.
im looking at this now and for an extra couple hours of work - and couple hundred in fittings, im going to repipe that side of the heat exchanger. I think I’m going to chalk this one up as a mistake but have peace of mind that I’m at least getting 1” pipe for the house side, and the short 3/4” loop will just be used for the wood boiler loop.0
