Does any company make slip tees in propress/copper press standard?

you can get slip tees in sharkbite and other 'slip-on' coupling styles but i can't find anyone who has them for press application. that seems pretty silly. you can get slip couplings pretty readily but i am constantly wanting slip tees. veiga doesn't even have the word slip in their catalogue. maybe they call it something else?

this will be my AHRExpo bugbear for the booths if I can't come up with something that is already available.

thanks, brian

the couplings are called "no stop" instead of "slip" so maybe try that

They list the slip coupling a repair coupling . Slip tee would be cool …

I like Veiga , Its a much tighter connection. I can tell when I catch a off brand in my stock ..

There was an error rendering this rich post.

@mattmia2 don't stop. can't remember what raunchy controversial movie that was from but i'll now forever recall it when I need a slip fitting. @pecmsg if you have actually seen or seen a listing for the fleeting no-stop tee and have a brand, part number, distributor or any of the above, much appreciated.

i have space to do this with a regular tee a nipple of copper pipe and a slip coupling, but I am forever looking for slip tees so even though I have a workaround for this project, would love to chase this down. thanks. brian

@pecmsg i can find the slip couplings, i can't find slip tees. maybe my initial post wasn't clear on that. brian

I know on most sweat copper couplings or tees you can file out the stop and slide it up the tube.

I don’t think the hub design of typical press fitting allows that?

i was wondering the same thing. also with a sweat fitting you tend to fill in where you filed away with solder
