The system keeps locking out after i reset it

The indirect tank is reading 89° on the gauge

Should i ohm out the sensors and see if they’re bad?

where is sensor number one and number 2? sounds like it isn't circulating

first photo is the system sensor,

Second is the Indirect tank sensor

i agree, circulator is most likely dead. water is not moving thru the boiler casing a high delta thru the boiler.

so I’ve reset it again, it ran for 4min before locking out again. The outlet side going to the tank was getting hot and the return going through the circulator and to the inlet were warming up. I don’t have the magnetic tester to see if the pump is actually spinning but it is letting hot water through and i do feel it vibrating.

    The circulator is a grundfos

are you sure those are the sensors? there are probably half a dozen temp sensors at various points. what makes you think those are number 1 and 2? one looks like the system or dhw recirc sensor and the other looks like the dhw tank sensor.

I would agree the circ is not moving water. Could be an air lock somewhere or a failed circ

What is the boiler pressure? Boosting fill pressure some times help clear an air bubble.

Don’t bet the farm on those spinner tools.

It really just indicates there is power at the motor. A demo here.

As mentioned, its not the tank sensor. The boiler has inlet an outlet temperature sensors.

If the system is allowed to sit idle for a while, do the temperatures the system displays for Sensor 1 and Sensor 2 seem plausible (basically approaching ambient temps) ? If so I still think it's a water flow issue through the heat exchanger.
