Reglaze tub

We want to reglaze our bathtub. It has already been glazed once. Is it recommended to remove the layer of glaze? Or can we deglaze right over that?

Hi, I'd probably leave the question to whoever is going to do and warrant the job. Perma Ceram is a franchise that might be able to answer the question also. If the glaze you got is more like an epoxy paint than true high temperature glazing, I'd guess it should be completely removed so there is no question about the new coating adhering properly.
