using heat pump in heat mode above 66 degrees ambient

There are kits that cycle the unit on and off to prevent over taxing it when used above 66 degrees. Am i safe having one of these installed on my grandaire model w4h5s? This heat pump is made by carrier and all that they will tell me is that they dont make such a kit. Ive had one installer say No, and two say yes. I dont want to void my warranty. I had pump & AHU installed in January 2025 and there were days when i wanted to turn on heat but outside ambient was above 66 degrees. Im cold below 74.
It came with papers that stated not to use above 66 degrees.
AHU grandaire model wbhL.
