Can I take out these radiators to spray paint?

I just bought a house and would love to refresh the radiators. I also read that is good to clean them for efficiency.

Can I take these out and spray paint them and if so how? They look different from old school radiators. I can’t find a video or information to help.

    Thats a very big & heavy undertaking. Get a shop vac & clean out as much dust bunnies as possible, clean, prime & paint in place with a high heat Rustoleum. Let us know how they turn out. Mad Dog

    You can remove to spray but you can get very good results by taking your time to clean them in place with spiral brushes on a cordless drill. Then use a paint brush. Preparation is the key to a successful paint job. A painters drop cloth and some news paper with masking tape will protect the floors and walls.

    You could also clean then mask the area and spray water based paint with any of a number of types of paint sprayers.

    Removing would be more work than its worth and quite frankly will prob do more harm than good.

    Those are set up for hot water. High heat paint is not needed. A good quality latex will be fine. Less noxious too!

    They do make radiator cleaning brushes. A shop vacuum and maybe some compressed air would be fine.
