    That will work fine. Don't forget to shutoff the yellow ball valve directly above the boiler. Be careful on the modulation…………you're dealing with 70 psi (typical) street pressure. Watch the gauge carefully or you're be very unhappy with water all over the floor.

    Negative.

    The yellow ball valve on the supply directly above the boiler. If you are feeding the supply with a hose via the black boiler drain, you don't want to feed into the boiler. You want to feed the zones. So, shutoff the supply directly above the boiler.

    Of course, you need a second hose on the blue boiler drain simultanously.

    Watch the pressure and try to keep it around 28 psi while you do this. Throttle black boiler drain to keep it below 28 psi and above 24 psi.

    Of course, open one zone at a time and purge until there are no bubbles from that zone. Repeat for each zone.

    Take you about 20 minutes…………………….
