Burnham ALP 105 Hard Lockout 25
Hi. Have an Burnham ALP 105 which showed a Hard Lockout 25 around two week ago. A simple reset from LCD screen then a normal power reset restored operation. Thought Sage controller might have failed. But my heating system been working fine since I reset it. All setting are fine on unit. Can this remain ok? Or should I order a Sage controller or High Limit Switch?
I normally wouldnt expect that to be intermittant. Or could the High temp limit sensor have overshot creating the error. Wanted your opinion or thoughts on this. Any advice appreciated. I do have full documentation on my burner. And all setting are perfect (within tolerances) as per service manual. In past only replace parts have been: Flame sensor, igniter Sensor, flue temp sensor. And of course basic cleanings. Any thought appreciated. TY.

Why do you wanna replace a control or safety for doing its job?
Find out what made the safety trip. It’s most likely due to lack of flow through the heat exchanger which could be from air binding or a circulator problem.

My ALP 105 is now a month since I cleared the hard reset and did power reset. Unit running normal since. I realize Sage controller can be indicated. Hoping just a glitch as you indicated.
