Pipe Connection

I'm grasping for straws on this one but maybe this forum has some ideas
I have a 2-1/2" Black Iron steam line - 10# that I need to make a connection to inside an air handler. We are doing a coil replacement. Because of its location welding is a last resort due to location and the site restrictions. Not a lot of room to get a threader head on the pipe. For Hot water we would use a Gruvlok roustabout fitting to go to grooved pipe but in this case it wont work for steam.
Anyone had an idea of something out there that will let me make the connection. From here I can use threaded.
