Concern about new boiler installation
Just had a new steam boiler installed the other day and I noticed one of the bolts on the front door of the boiler does not appear fully tightened.
I have included two photos of the boiler, one of the left side of the door where the bolt seems to be fully tightened and flush and one picture of the right side of the boiler where the bolt is clearly not tightened all the way. How concerning is this loose bolt? Also makes me wonder what else may have been improperly installed if this is a problem.
Installer is coming back in a few days to fix a corroded pipe. If this is something that needs fixing can it wait a few days or should it be addressed immediately? Thanks in advance for your advice.

That does not look like something the installed would do. that is a factory installed nut and bolt. I believe that you are just fine but you should bring it to the technicians attention when he comes back. If there were a real problem, there would be smoke or an odor as a result, but I believe there are at least 3 other bolts that are holding that door on to the heater.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
