Burner Issue CLUELESS at this point

I have replaced my circulator pump, computer, burner motor, oil pump, shaft coupler, oil filter, and the tiger loop, the system starts and fires with no ignition I have oil in the line going to the bottom of the tiger loop and even went as far as pulling the oil pump and priming the gun line to see if it would fire, it fired no problem but wouldn’t stay burning due to lack of fuel, can I do away with the tiger loop and plumb in a single feed line to the side in inlet if the pump, current set up is feed and return from and to the tiger loop on the bottom of the pump, burner is Carlin 70200x and pump is standard Beckett oil pump with solenoid

That’s the funny thing I’ve had 3 separate companies out here to advise/ fix the issue that’s how I ended up with new everything each one suggested replace this or that still no luck, tried my hand a getting a 4th to come out this morning and they don’t want the liability I’m lost at this point

Too many hands have touched it

Where are you located? If it won't stay firing any competent tech should be able to figure it out. Someone here may know who those competent techs are in your area.

no circulator caused all the initial problems it failed causing water to leak all over computer and motor which caused them to fail, and Hampton Va

I did not see the IGNITOR or any IGNITION parts on the list of "Parts Cannon Fodder"
If the flame is not igniting then look at the ignition system!
Sorry if this sound too obvious?
Next idea from Captain Obvious. Does your fuel oil supplier have someone that works on oil burners? It is your fuel suppliers best interest if he can get your oil burner to work. if it does not work then they will not be selling you any fuel. Common sense says that the oil company should know how to get you to start burning oil somehow.
If you are the type of customer that shops around from one dealer to another for the lowest price, then here is a good reason to look for a fuel oil dealer that cost a little more but offers a service agreement to keep that burner running. If you were one of my customers the burner would already be running by now.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

I didn’t think it was the ignition system because when I primed the gun line the boiler fired like it would normally just wouldn’t stay lit, also I have a solid arc going between the two paddles on the underside of my transformer

Sounds like someone needs to open the instructions that came with the new primary control and read them.

Trust me I have done, made sure it was set up properly per manufacturer guidelines went and adjusted the settings for the T-T bridge, but thanks

I see that you put oil in the pump somehow and got the flame to ignite but the flame went out due to lack of fuel. I wonder if your tiger loop is connected in reverse? Look closely at the arrows on the fuel pump. Supply ^ Return v and look closely at the Tiger loop arrows. that should all go in the same direction like this > > > >. Not like this. > < > <. Fuel line from oil tank to the Tank IN ^. OUT of tiger loop > to the IN (supply) ^ of the pump, OUT of the pump (return) v to the IN < on the tiger loop

The tech working on the burner. It is possible and very likely that the primary control is both miswired or misconfigured or both and the burner is now also out of adjustment from all the parts swapping.

What Ed mentioned above is a likely scenario and an easy mistake to make. If so, you're done………..the boiler will never run.
I'd like to see you bleed the pump into a container and see what you get. Do you know how to do this?
0 -
Yes I’m familiar with the bleeding process, will verify I have the right line configuration and go from there, also not getting fuel through the tiger loop

Maybe 4x a charm. Oil burners are not DIY unless you have the testing equipment. IDK how the circulator worked it's way in there.

does the tiger loop have a vacuum gauge if so i have seen them produce vacuum leaks remove and put a plug in it . As other have stated electrodes gapped properly . Has the burners oil pressure been checked ,turbulator or head cleaned ? Personally i would re check wiring cad cell and then attach a pressure gauge to the jet line and ensure that the pump is operating at the correct pressure and then last but not least check for a steady stream of fuel from the jet line . Just wondering was the tiger loop always there or was it installed recently . Also if the tiger loop was just installed i would re check the connection to ensure it was properly piped . Are all your oil connected using flare fitting as compression fitting should not be used . If stainless steel flex lines where used be sure that aside from properly piped that the connection are tight . Has anyone check your pump strainer and ensure that the cover on the pump is properly tightened . Has a vacuum test been done to show if you have a oil line blocked ,have you blown back and hand pumped oil to the filter ?
Personally even though i ve have been on the 24 /7 end of working for a oil company and doing service i still to this day recommend to oil customers to use only a full service oil co who does annual cleaning and offers a service agreement being if you call me later nite cause your boiler is not working and it needs a cleaning you will be paying through the nose . As good as and as easy as it looks it ain't so easy if ya aint doing it for a living and just remember every hit of the cad cell relay just doses the cast w a little more oil till boom and some one w experience either has to rub her down w cat liter or light a camel cigarette and light her off and burn the oil out of the boiler ,i can say that thats not something you would like to experience being it stinks and usually loads the basement w some real stink but hey if your happy being cold and trying to fix it yourself maybe after a week or so in in the cold playing mech you will come to your senses and call some one who strictly deal w oil burners .Usually this is not some thing for plumbers /hvac guy who may install but do not have the service experience w oil burner it may seem trail and error in getting them to repair properly w out replace unnecessary parts . Most oil burner guys if familiar w the burner will have no issue repairing ,unless you have oil tank or oil line issues which will of course need to be addressed . .
Take it all w a grain of salt
peace and good luck clammy

You say you have a Carlin 70200 primary. This controller logs the errors as they occur. It would be useful to look through the error log, to see what diagnostics it logged. If the error is "no flame", with a run time of: whatever the TFI is set to+1 secs, that means it does not get oil at all. The error message has some additional info if there is a problem with any of the subsystems e.g.: "check vlv" , "chk ign" etc. Whoever is working on the system can call into Carlin tech support, and they are super helpful wen diagnosing issues.
Could be a simple configuration problem. When the Carlin primary is installed, you have to tell it that it has an oil valve (aka solenoid) . If you tell it that it does not have one, it will not work, with he symptoms you describe ( it will not turn on the oil valve) .A way to fix this,is doing a factory reset on the 70200, and then it will ask that question again.
What brand burner BTW?
