We usually get many questions on power piles and what should the millivolt readings be etc.
I can never remember what the millivolt readings are supposed to be. Used to work on a few now and then but not enough to remember. Always had to look it up. Can't remember where I found this. Maybe it could be posted on this site for others to use @Erin Holohan Haskell

There is still a version of this in the instructions for honeywell thermopiles. It is very confusing that they draw the thermopile as an air core coil. It is a stack of cells of sorts, not a coil. If you look at the documents with a honeywell thermolipe on supplyhouse.com a newer version of this is there.
