    is the copper pipping going to hold up? from what i read it’s not. but i need to make sure i address all issues with him in hopes he will repair them.

    Have @Mad Dog_2 look over your system and develop a plan and drawings for your current service company to follow. If they are sincere with their intent of making the system work they will be glad for the help.

    Dear Boxer

    I believe you have all the good advice needed to address your steam heating issue ie. re-piping near boiler to start, etc. you just have the wrong guy that failed in the initial installation of new radiators willing to fix it properly. The solution has already posted by pros on this site many times. I wish you well,
