Other than HTP and Vaughn are there any reputable Manufactures that make an indirect water Htr that has a coil and electric elements?

I think Bock still offers them in both single and dual coil with element

Bock manufactured the Caleffi solar tanks, they are a great heavy wall steel, glass lined tank

You can use a regular electric tank heater and connect a plate HX plus a small recirc pump on an aqua stat for boiler heat. This is what I have and less money than anything indirect. Bonus, unlike a coil tank, you can easily clean the plate HX if you have hard water.

This is how some of the overseas tanks are built:

Just about any "solar" tank is set up this way. I had a customer recently that purchased a Richmond solar tank from the big box store and we tied his existing evacuated tube system into it, but any heat source could realistically perform the same task.

We had a dual fuel prototype tank that had a NG burner mid way up the tank, solar coil at the bottom. An interesting concept that fizzled with the last solar thermal wave.

Bock has a second company that rolls those large diameter coils that appear in other brands like BW, Laars, etc. They rolled a 30' long 1-1/2' tube into various coil diameters.

Then they were glass coated with the A.O. Smith Permaglas that you see on many old silos around the midwest.

The CombiCor 2 used that large steel coil also.

Bradford White still makes them, but I was just recently told there’s a five week lead time from RE Michel.

Someone else may have one in stock somewhere.
