Are all S S 316 bodied ball valves safe at less than 40 psi and 160 f ?
I need 2 for a 40 gallon gasoline tank that is reserve for a Generac17,500 watt portable generator. What gasket materials besides Buna N and Nitrile can be used to seal the inside surfaces. 3/4" size will be used on everything in contact with the E10 gasoline.
Thank you

You need valves which are specifically designed and listed for use with flammable materials such as gasoline, and are resistant to pesky things like ethanol. Try an auto supply store.

Most valves have a WOG printed on them. Water, oil, gas. However gas in a vaporized form, not gasoline.
I think most valves with teflon seals will work. To be positive get a valve with API 608 listing, which covers petroleum and petrochemical use.
