Buying new boiler.No electricity

Need to buy boiler that is run buy thermal couple milvolt or can I replace gas regulator valve do they still make a boiler that runs with no electricity needed?Except from the pilot light to generate the heat for ignition 4122513616 if you can supply a person that I can purchase one-off of or a supplier, please call or text message.     No, they don’t make milivolt boilers anymore and they haven’t for decades.

    Milivolt replacement parts are still available.

    only reason to replace your boiler is if it is leaking. If that is the case, then you need to purchase a new boiler that does not require a combustion fan for operation. Utica, Burnham, Weil McLain, And most others have such a model of boiler in their inventory. Remove the electronic ignition parts and the automatic vent damper.. Then connect a Millivolt gas valve, standing pilot with powerpile generator, and you should be good to go.


    There will be no warranty on the boiler since you have modified the original manufacturers design. Just make sure you connect the existing high limit control along with the spill switch and rollout switch to the gas valve circuit.

    And, if that's a steam boiler, you'll need to add a float-type low-water cutoff/feeder such as a McDonnell & Miller #47-2.
