Navien question for installer/servicer

For those with first-hand experience: do you have a preference for the NCB vs NFB models? Or, should I run away? This is the brand my plumber recommended.
I picked up the long-awaited unit yesterday, hoping to install this weekend. And it was the wrong one. I wanted NFB175 but received NCB150. Both meet the design load of the house (110K). I was up-sizing for future heat in the garage and possible snow melt. Thanks in advance.

I agree. Navien has issues.

NFB is a fire tube boiler and is the replacement for the NCB and NPE boilers that are prone to countless problems including the heat exchangers leaking flue gasses and water. The rest of the boiler is not good quality either. If I were you I would demand the NFB, actually I would demand something besides Navien. I would never put that junk in my home or my customers.
