AC compressor near heating oil tank?

Looking to possibly relocate the heating oil tank in connection with some construction, and the best place would be next to the AC equipment. Is there any issue with this? Info online mentions a requirement for 10’ clearance from a propane tank but I wasn’t sure if the same issue was there for an oil tank (I know people put them indoors for example).

    That is up to the Authority Having Jurisdiction.

    Check your local codes. My condenser is 3 ft from my Roth oil tank, which is 3 ft from my LP tank. All along the property line.
