pex?
Got a boiler change, my estimator guy says he couldn't make sense of the wording on this tube, and I can't read it. Is this normal pex? I got jammed once on a Heatway job (poor flow), trying to be cautious. Merci Buckets

The Nibco barrier tubing they used to sell at Menards had very similar gibberish on it and was the same color. I run into it quite a bit around here but I don't know if I have a chunk of it laying around or not, as they discontinued it probably 5-6 years ago. I'll take a look and see if I can find some. Is that 3/8"? Looks a bit smaller than normal.

I'll ask, this is a copy from the service titan program.

It does seem to be smaller. Looks like 3/8 to me too.

watts has their own line of pex, the heat pex was orange. It does look to be 3/8
At the PPI, Plastic Pipe Institute, website they explain all the various listing numbers. The ASTM is a dimension or tolerance spec, I believe

This is PEX. ASTM F876 is the standard for PEX tubing in the US, and CSA B137.5 is the PEX standard for Canada, and both of these can be seen. The rest of the markings are a bit blurry, but it's a Watts manifold. The markings also indicate it's an oxygen barrier PEX tested to DIN 4726. I think the production date is 07/13/04, if I'm reading that correctly. I agree that it looks like 3/8 nominal tubing, which is actually 0.500" OD.
This PPI document explains all of the PEX standards
