Runtal under a floating vanity?

I am re-doing my bathroom and it is going to kill me. Everything is going wrong that can go wrong. Contractor put a horizontal hydronic beautiful 2 panel Runtal under a floating vanity which has a glossy finish. My Runtal salesperson said the Runtal can get as hot as 150-165 degrees and may melt the gloss, as glossy finish is probably an acrylic coating. Does anyone know anyhting about this? I told the contractor to install a metal panel heat shield on the bottom of the vanity, like you used to see between a stove and a kithen cabinet, but he wants to put a "FLASLD Aluminized Heat Shield Thermal Barrier Adhesive Backed Heat Sleeve" from Amazon that looks like a thick piece of aluminum foil. HELP!!! All comments welcome, even the snarky ones!

Overkill — but cheap enough and easy to install. That product is a good bit more than just a thick piece of aluminium foil — there is a ceramic fiber insulating backing on it which really does a good job. It's usually used to protect miscellaneous bits of a car or boat or airplane which shouldn't get hot (like fuel tanks!) from things which do get hot (like exhaust pipes).

I doubt the air around the radiator will get that hot?

Do you know for sure it will run 160F? Most panel rads are designed around a 130- 140 supply temperature.

It really depends on the heat load of the room. It may, probably will be fine, but more info is needed.
