Oil tank vent and fill pipe location
Hi all,
See attached photos. I'm wondering if there's any way to change location of the fill and vent pipes for my oil tank? Not something I'm comfortable doing myself, but want to know if there's any approach that wouldn't impact function? Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks —

Your oil company should be able to do it. They'll know the limits and pertinent codes (hopefully) and should make an estimate for the work.

Why can't it be piped out right where there tank is? Is there a locked gate to the rear? Dogs?

Tank looks like it against the "house". They had to run the pipe to the front corner to get it outside the garage

@oil_heat_run Please post a few pics of the outside wall where the pipes exit now and a far enough view of that side of the house.

@oil_heat_run I'm guessing the fill and vent exit the house at the rear right-side corner. If you can change direction 180 deg and have the fill end vent go toward the front or the side. That might be an option.
As I said above. Please post some pics.
