Towel Warmer

My wife and I are traveling and have this towel warmer in our bathroom with supply and return piping and also an electrical connection. I believe there’s an electrical heating element that you can program to keep the towel warmer on during the summer.

Towel warmer? With a 20° setpoint, wouldn't that be a towel freezer?

    20 degrees C is about 158 Fahrenheit.

Alan must be out of the country.

Yes, you are right. I was reading the chart in the wrong direction……..that isn't a very warm towel.

  • It only gets lukewarm, just warm enough to heat the towels. Seems like a lot of trouble just to keep the towels warm, but different cultures take comfort seriously.

It's taken quite (absurdly) seriously here too. I had an emergency service call in August for radiant heat not working in the master bath. Yes, it also is set for 68° cooling at the same time.

Needless to say, their definition of emergency wasn't our definition of emergency, so we made warm tootsies on Monday. Then I peeled them some grapes, and bowed out gracefully.

Hope you're having a blast, Alan.
