Any idea of the manufacturer who made this drain or similar?

Trying to track down any related patent drawings.

Given the condition of the chrome I suspect that has been replaced although having the spout underneath the flood line of the fixture hasn't been code since around wwii.

I have a few of those around… both bathtubs and lavatories. I've revised the faucets on them so that the fill is above the fixture rim. The drain assembly works just fine, and is simple and will keep going for centuries…

Oh — and the drain assembly is adjustable, if need be…

Main body is nickel plated and original to tub in house although in new bathroom. The chrome plated feed lines into valve body are new.
Buffed up the nickel plate with 0000 brass wool.
To meet code, check valves were installed in supply lines as part of assembly located in adjacent water closet.

Here is the contact information on a site that seams to specialize in this valve. DEA Bathroom Machineries. ( https://deabath.com › restorations Standing Waste & Drain Tub Valves ) They may be able to help you identify the manufacturer. On their website it states they have a tub spout that will adapt this to an over the flood level fill. That will correct one code violation, in massachusetts the Bi-transit Waste is not allowed because of the amount of dirt that it collects internally. But i've seen many with a regular cleaning that are quite easy to live with.

Thanks @Lyle {pheloa} Carter - that’s a cool site! My wife really like the vintage tub and faucet. Well worth the headache of moving and restoring.
my neighbor recently renovated thier bathrooms and removed two similar tubs and faucets. One of the bathroom workers took em away; I was afraid to ask where. 😞
